Brief
From bridges to tunnels – DEGES GmbH is responsible for a wide range of large-scale transportation projects. To showcase these projects – and more importantly, the people behind them – the company commissioned us to create a series of cinematic employee portraits.
We proposed a clear departure from the usual overly staged office imagery.
DEGES agreed.
Solution
In preliminary conversations, we identified the most exciting and personally meaningful projects of our interviewees. During the filming, we brought those stories back to life.
To do so, we transformed a minimalist room in DEGES’s Berlin office – with its white walls and sparse furnishings – into a space that felt like a memory room: a calm, focused environment for reflection and storytelling.
Result
The client responded very positively to the story-driven approach, proving that an employer branding film doesn’t always have to be fast-paced or flashy to be effective.
This particular portrait draws viewers in because the right topics were carefully selected – and then skillfully arranged in the edit to maintain flow and authenticity.
And as for project manager Mr. Steinkühler – you simply can’t get enough of him.
