Success Story - TeamViewer

When a company’s management board, supervisory board, and shareholders meet in a digital format, precision is required—content-wise, technically, and organizationally. For TeamViewer, a global leader in digital workplace solutions based in Göppingen, the annual general meeting (AGM) is far more than a legal obligation. It’s a strategic showcase, a platform for dialogue with investors and the public, and an event where first impressions matter.

In 2025, the company chose a new approach: improved operational performance, higher quality in presentation, and—above all—a secure digital setup that meets all technical and regulatory requirements without compromising on user experience or professionalism.

The goal was not just to deliver a stable livestream, but to execute the AGM with excellence across content, logistics, and technology. The solution: a fully orchestrated setup at TeamViewer’s headquarters in Göppingen, brought to life with experienced partners—and with movingimage leading AV technology and livestreaming.

The starting point: From makeshift compromises to clear standards

TeamViewer had already successfully hosted virtual AGMs in previous years. But as quality expectations grew, the organizing team began looking for professional, end-to-end support—especially on the technical side.

"In the past, we invested a lot of energy in coordinating the technical setup ourselves. In 2025, we wanted to do better—with less effort on our side and a partner who could confidently cover the full AV spectrum."
Andreas Eisfeld
, Senior Internal Communications Manager at TeamViewer

The focus wasn’t just on technology—it was about the big picture: a professional presence, maximum reliability, seamless collaboration between all parties, and a setup that inspires trust.

The challenge: Live is live—and mistakes are not an option

At the heart of the planning was a live event with many moving parts: stage, lighting, camera, audio, direction, and streaming. Every element had to be technically aligned to perfection. At the same time, the executive and supervisory boards needed to stay fully focused on content—without having to deal with technology or controls.

“For us, it was clear: we needed a setup that gave our leadership team maximum confidence—easy to use, with well-designed processes and an AV partner who always has everything under control,” says Eisfeld.

The biggest challenge wasn’t any one technical component—it was how everything worked together. The livestream had to sync precisely with the stage setup, the virtual Q&A interface with the investor portal, and the camera work with the audio direction.

It was a complex scenario with many potential pitfalls—successfully mastered through detailed preparation and experienced partners.

The execution: AV excellence meets trust and experience

For the 2025 AGM, movingimage—together with additional service providers—took full responsibility for the audiovisual implementation: from stage setup and lighting to camera direction and livestreaming.

The preparation phase was marked by close coordination, clearly defined roles, and structured planning. All systems were tested multiple times, fallback solutions were put in place, and a comprehensive dress rehearsal was conducted.

“Working with movingimage was consistently professional. What impressed us most was their calm, forward-thinking approach. The team was always available, proactively addressed open points, and coordinated seamlessly with our other partners,” says Eisfeld.

On the day of the event, everything ran as planned. Audio and video were stable and high quality, the livestream in the investor portal ran without interruption, and even last-minute changes were handled with confidence.

“At every moment, we felt we were in good hands—and that’s an invaluable asset during a live event,” Eisfeld emphasizes.

The results: Less effort, greater impact

The difference compared to previous years was clearly noticeable. Internal coordination efforts were significantly reduced thanks to clearly defined responsibilities and efficient communication between all stakeholders.

Quality also took a visible leap forward: feedback from the executive board, investor relations team, and shareholders was overwhelmingly positive—especially regarding video and audio quality, as well as the stability of the stream.

“For us, this wasn’t just a successful AGM—it was a major step up in quality,” Eisfeld summarizes. “Both technically and organizationally, the 2025 event was our most confident execution yet.”

Conclusion: A live event on a new level

With its new setup, TeamViewer reached an important milestone—not just in event organization, but also in its confidence in digital formats. The collaboration with movingimage was more than just a project. It was a true partnership with a provider who understands technology, people, and processes alike.

“The combination of technical expertise, absolute reliability, and a calm, human approach made all the difference for us,” Eisfeld sums up.

The path is now set for future hybrid and virtual formats. The 2025 AGM won’t just be remembered—it’s the new blueprint for events where live truly means secure.
