3. Scope of Data Collection, Storage, and Use
We use the service unbounce to create, publish and evaluate so-called landing pages (subpages) for promotions and advertising campaigns on our website www.movingimage.com.
unbounce is a service of:
unbounce Marketing Solutions Inc.
400-401 West Georgia Street
Canada V6B 5A1
These landing pages are hosted by unbounce. unbounce processes the data provided by you during your visit of our website exclusively in AWS data centers within the EU.
unbounce also collects and stores the data you provide on the site (e.g. in case of an inquiry via a contact form) and makes it available to us.
unbounce also sets a cookie to record your usage behavior on the site and evaluate it for us in anonymized usage statistics. The collected data (IP address; user ID; date and time; title and URL of the visited page; referrer URL; screen resolution; accessed and downloaded files; clicked links to other pages; time needed for page setup; language settings, browser type/version) will not be merged with the data you provide on the site.
We will then receive an evaluation of the activities from unbounce. You can find information about data protection at unbounce here:
The customer can visit our website without having to provide personal information. movingimage only stores access data without any personal reference via the statistics service ‘Google Analytics’ (see Clause 8). These data are evaluated solely for the purpose of improving the service and do not allow for any conclusions or inferences about the customer. Personal data are collected only when the customer shares them with us voluntarily. For instance, when creating a user account in the VideoManager or the webcast or logging on to such user account, the name, a user name and password of the respective end user of the VideoManager and the webcast are provided by such end user and stored by us. We use such data shared by the customer, without his/her separate consent, solely for the purpose of executing and fulfilling orders placed with us and/or answering inquiries, as well as in connection with the job application process. The personal data that the customer shares with movingimage, such as when placing an order by phone, e-mail or fax, will be processed only for the purpose of communicating with the customer and for the purpose for which the customer has shared the data with us. For example, if the customer contacts movingimage to book the VideoManager or order a test account to acquire new customers, movingimage will collect, store, and process the personal data only where and to the extent that this is necessary to execute the contract. The processing of the order requires the customer and/or company name, the address, the e-mail address, and the phone number. movingimage needs the phone number and/or e-mail address in case of any questions in connection with executing the order. The e-mail address and/or fax number are used to communicate the written confirmation of order and confirmation of completion. It may al so be necessary to share personal data with the movingimage employee tasked with the implementation of the order, who is bound by confidentiality, or with a financial institution that handles payments. Usage data, that is created in connection with the use of the VideoManager (in particular, the user name of an end user uploading a video as well as the time of such upload), are collected and used by us only insofar as this is necessary in order to allow and account for the use of the VideoManager.

This increases the convenience while using the Web portals. Cookies are used to ensure the smooth operation and improvement of movingimage offers. Through the appropriate adjustment of his/her Web browser, each end user can decide freely to accept cookies, to be alerted before a cookie is stored, or to reject all cookies. But movingimage must point out that the use of the movingimage Web services may be limited if cookies are set to be rejected in full or partially.

Our website uses the conversion tool “LinkedIn Insight Tag” from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser, which, among other things, enables the following data: IP address, device and browser properties and page events (e.g. page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any personal data with movingimage, but offers anonymized reports about the website target group and the display performance. In addition, LinkedIn offers the option of retargeting via the Insight Tag. Movingimage can use this data to display targeted advertisements outside of its website without identifying you as a website visitor. Google Ads (Google Ads Conversion, Google Ads Remarketing)
We use the offer of Google Ads Conversion to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Ads) on external websites. We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data from the advertising campaigns. We are therefore interested in showing you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.
These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called “ad servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of advertisements or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads stores a cookie on your device. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and should not be used to identify you personally. For this cookie, the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user does not wants to be addressed more).
These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Ads customer and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users based on this information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you are the corresponding part of our website called up or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and save your IP address.
We use the remarketing function within the Google Ads service. With the remarketing function, we can present interest-based ads to users of our website on other websites within the Google advertising network (in Google search or on YouTube, so-called “Google ads” or on other websites). For this, the interaction of the users on our website is analyzed, e.g. Which offers the user was interested in, in order to be able to display targeted advertising on other pages even after visiting our website. For this purpose, Google stores cookies on the end devices of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google display network. The visits of these users are recorded via these cookies. Cookies are used to clearly identify a web browser on a specific device and not to identify a person.
You can find more information in the “Cookies” section.
Further information on data protection at Google can be found here.
